Neighborhood overviewShelbyville is an adorable town full of life, charming people, antique stores, and restaurants. It is often referred to as the American Saddlebred Capital of the World. It is home to over 80 saddle-horse farms. However, you need not be a horse enthusiast to visit this delightful town in Bluegrass Country. The town is close to Kentucky’s famous Bourbon Trail and you can visit two distilleries without leaving. You can also spend a lovely outdoor day enjoying a wine tasting, taking a trip to the apple and peach orchards, or exploring some of the town's beautiful parks. There is something to do for everyone!
Getting aroundThere is plenty of parking in town though you could walk from The Blue Belle to town. Ubers are available as well as guided bourbon tours. Contact your host with help with these arrangements.
